the tenant initiative kotti & co has long been calling for the (re-)municipalisation of the private social housing complexes around kottbusser tor in berlin kreuzberg and also demands the transfer of genuine co-administration rights to the tenants. but how strongly is this demand anchored in the neighborhood? what and how do the inhabitants want to have a say in? in 2018, on behalf of the state of berlin, the association kotti-coop e.v. has conducted a large-scale study to answer these and further (housing) questions.
